The Group TúnelAntonio Nadal Destil·leries, the company to which it belongs, understands sustainability as a cross-cutting commitment that is part of its management model and its way of generating value. Therefore, it integrates environmental, social, and corporate responsibility criteria into all its areas of activity and levels of the organization, while also promoting collaboration with social and educational entities through support initiatives, cooperation, and internship programs.
This vision translates into a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy aimed at generating a positive and lasting impact on the environment, based on the following objectives:
Ensure that environmental management is integrated with quality, food safety, and occupational health and safety.
To maintain and strengthen annual collaboration with social entities, contributing to the development and well-being of the community.
To promote cooperation with educational centers, favoring practical training and professional development of students through their participation in the different areas of the company
Respect for the Earth
Clean water
1. In all our production processes, we have reduced water consumption per liter of alcohol by 10%.
2. We collect and store rainwater for use in toilets, latrines and street cleaning.
3. We have 5 cisterns for drip irrigation (98% of the cultivated area).
Environment
1. We have implemented the waste management system in all our facilities.
2. All our plantations are registered in the organic system.
Clean energy
1. 50% of our electricity consumption comes from renewable energy.
2. Photovoltaic panels that generate more than 350 kWp.
3. We have 2 solar collector parks for domestic hot water.
4. We have replaced diesel with natural gas in all our industrial facilities.
Efficiency
1. All the lighting in our facilities is LED technology.
2. Our refrigeration and air conditioning equipment is highly efficient.
3. The compressors in our industrial facilities are equipped with systems that recover the generated heat energy (cogeneration).
4. Cold/heat enthalpy recovery system in our ventilation systems.
5. We only work with local suppliers (Kilometer 0).

We have held ISO 9001 certification since 2003, a certification that we have maintained over the years and that supports our quality management system.
Carbon footprint
We comply with annual inspections of Carbon footprintwhich allows us to quantify and track our greenhouse gas emissions.
